About Sam

Sam Nicoresti is a writer, performer and the winner of the Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Show 2025.

Sam Nicoresti is an UK-based (“Uhk-based”) comedian from Birmingham whose obsessive neuroticism and lyrical phrasing blends with a surrealist instinct and childish playfulness to create thick, delirious routines.

Sam won the Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Show at the Fringe 2025 with her show Baby Doomer, selling out her whole run and receiving rave reviews from critics. Baby Doomer would then transfer to the Soho Theatre in London, where it would have a three week sell out run.

Sam is also a Chortle Best MC Nominee 2024 & Leicester Square New Comedian Winner 2021

Her previous two fringe shows have also been transferred to the Soho Theatre, you can watch the special of her last show, Wokeflake, on youtube here

She regularly plays at venues and festivals across the UK, and has been a part of projects including The Glang Show and Weirdos Comedy, and she was also a part of the team behind Panel Prize-winning Iraq: Out & Loud.
